Q: How many hours of volunteering do I need to earn a 4-day pass?
A: Most crews require 12 hours of volunteering. The Hospitality Crew generally requires 14 hours of volunteering in trade for a 4-day pass.
Q: How much is the volunteer deposit? What is the deposit for?
A: The deposit is the at-the-gate cost of the pass you are volunteering towards. A 4-day volunteer deposit is $110. The volunteer deposit is to ensure the volunteer-ticket trade.
Q: In what form can I make a deposit?
A: Credit card, check, or money order. Credit card and check are preferred methods. If you plan to make a deposit with a money order please be aware: we will mail the money order back to you after the festival. It will NOT be immediately available after you complete your shifts due to volunteer office processing needs.
Q: Can I use an already purchased ticket as my volunteer deposit?
A: No
Q: What are my options regarding volunteer crews?
A: Before you sign up make sure you read the volunteer crew descriptions
Q: When will I get my volunteer schedule?
A: The Volunteer Office beings scheduling in June. We schedule volunteers in chronological order based on when they signed up online.
Q: How will I get scheduled?
A: We usually call volunteers to schedule, make sure you provide an accurate phone number and e-mail address.
Q: How old do I have to be to volunteer?
A: If you are under 18 we require that you volunteer with a parent or guardian.
If you are 13-15 you must complete this form: 13-15 Parental Consent Form
If you are 16-17 you must complete this form: 16-17 Parental Consent Form
Q: Can I volunteer extra hours to earn an offsite camping pass?
A: No.
Q: Can I volunteer for a single day pass?
A: For some crews yes, please make this interest known when you fill out the application form. You must also volunteer on the same day you want the wristband for.
