so much more!
The Healing Arts Area is a section of the festival, in the middle of it all, yet shielded by trees in a peaceful glade where festival-goers can go to escape and explore a wide array of healing practices. From movement classes designed for body, mind and spirit, to hands-on healing by trained practitioners, you will be soothed and made strong and ready to take on life (and the festival). Come visit!
The Indigenous Crafts Area welcomes Native American crafters and craftsmen to display, demonstrate and sell their art and wares. Native American tradition celebrated through pow-wow dances and art teaches us a pre-columbian spiritual awareness, and about a culture that lived in a harmonious way with the Earth. Pre-columbian Native America would be considered totally sustainable in our world-view today.
Take a stroll down craft vendor lane, renowned for its emphasis on high quality, handmade, original work ranging from jewelry, fiber arts, musical instruments, candles, glass art, printmaking, pottery, natural skincare products, and more. Your purchases at the festival will support a true artisan and a way of life that deserves to be sustained and encouraged!
We're delighted to provide festival fare that is as tasty and nourishing to your body as music is to the soul. From authentic Vietnamese cuisine to cornmeal fried catfish, pulled pork to bahn mi, we support our neighborhood restaurants, organic farmers, and all things yummy to keep festival-goers fueled tot he next dance.

We at GrassRoots have never been much for pigeonholing our interests. As we see it, everyone should experience the whole spectrum of the arts over these 4 days. Just as the music overflows from the stages to the campsites, so does the ethos of the Art Barn. Stop in, immerse yourself, catch some fantastic installation pieces by local artists and be a part of the whole experience.

Storytelling is one of the most ancient and powerful ways of communicating and connecting with people. From the earliest days, it has been considered an art, one of the primary ways that everyone received information. Stories more than anything else, capture the essence of our lives and we invite you to join us in this experience.
The Vinyl Lounge features local DJs spinning tunes the old fashioned way, between sets on the Meadow Stage. With a beer stand right alongside, it’s the perfect place to mellow out with friends and dance to timeless grooves.
