so much more!

healing arts

The Healing Arts Area is a section of the festival, in the middle of it all, yet shielded by trees in a peaceful glade where festival-goers can go to escape and explore a wide array of healing practices. From movement classes designed for body, mind and spirit, to hands-on healing by trained practitioners, you will be soothed and made strong and ready to take on life (and the festival). Come visit!

indigenous crafts

The Indigenous Crafts Area welcomes Native American crafters and craftsmen to display, demonstrate and sell their art and wares. Native American tradition celebrated through pow-wow dances and art teaches us a pre-columbian spiritual awareness, and about a culture that lived in a harmonious way with the Earth. Pre-columbian Native America would be considered totally sustainable in our world-view today.

beer & wine gardens

3 beer gardens on-site feature regionally-brewed beers and locally-made wines for your drinking pleasure. Grab dinner and a drink or just enjoy the company of a friend while tunes from the stages croon across the way. Find their locations on the festival site map. ID is requires. Must be 21+ to drink.

art barn

We at GrassRoots have never been much for pigeonholing our interests. As we see it, everyone should experience the whole spectrum of the arts over these 4 days. Just as the music overflows from the stages to the campsites, so does the ethos of the Art Barn. Stop in, immerse yourself, catch some fantastic installation pieces by local artists and be a part of the whole experience.

friends of bill w

Come join the fellowship with others that are clean and sober at the festival. We will have an informal 12-Step meeting for all persons that would like to attend. This is a place where we can find strength, hope and support with others in recovery.
Healing Arts Area - Fri 5pm, Sat 10am & Sat 5pm

storytelling

Storytelling is one of the most ancient and powerful ways of communicating and connecting with people. From the earliest days, it has been considered an art, one of the primary ways that everyone received information. Stories more than anything else, capture the essence of our lives and we invite you to join us in this experience.

VINYL LOUNGE

The Vinyl Lounge features local DJs spinning tunes the old fashioned way, between sets on the Meadow Stage. With a beer stand right alongside, it’s the perfect place to mellow out with friends and dance to timeless grooves.
