Aaron Lipp & The Slack Tones

Aaron Lipp has played with everyone from the Robert Randolph family band to Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad. With the Slack Tones he finds his own sound. Having immersed himself in old-time music and bluegrass, he put together a band that consummates reverence for the past while asking blues, honky-tonk, country, and rock ’n’ roll to come along for a ride in to the present.

Afrobeta

Miami’s avant-dance duo will make you shake your groove thing. The band’s original tracks could be chart-toppers, but formulaic they are not. Tony Laurencio layers synth tracks and funk-laden bass lines while Cuci Amador delivers high-energy vocals and serious style. Her performance and costumes make the experience a multisensory one, so take a look, take a listen, and get ready to move!

Along The River

Atsiaktonkie, which means “Along the River” in the Mohawk language, calls for the rejuvenation of Native American spirit in his music, coined “folk with feathers.” With elements of folk, rock, and country, Atsiaktonkie translates timeless problems into modern parables with profound lyrics and melodies.
