Youth Volunteer Info

youth volunteer info

The GrassRoots Festival considers it a priority to have youth involved in the festival. Volunteering for the community is one of the best ways to contribute. A growing number of incidences over the years have led to the need to clarify and develop the youth volunteer policy.

Youth will need to have a parent or guardian present at the time of check-in at the festival, along with proof of age.

Have a signed parental consent form prior to the festival. (This includes during-festival parent/legal guardian contact name & contact info.)

Have gone through the pre-festival verbal permission process. (This can be done with either Volunteer Office staff or the FLGR Crew Chief in which the youth is serving on.  The pre-festival orientation process satisfies this requirement.)
