healing arts & yoga
Free love and healing is what you’ll find tucked away there in the shady area behind the craft vendors, taking place in the form of hands-on bodywork, breath work, energy exchange and exploration, meridian alignment, esoteric spiritual practices, kindness and caring. Community organizations and individual practitioners offer informational sessions and personal healing arts demonstrations for those interested in exploring this powerful and progressive wave of health care. Stop by this place of quiet and positive relaxation to rest your dancing feet and gather strength! You will find an extensive schedule of hands-on healing arts demonstrations at the healing arts information station.
Start your GrassRoots day with a relaxing, rejuvenating, and energizing yoga session. Diane Fine, a Kripalu trained and certified teacher, has been leading GrassRoots yoga since 1996, and will help guide you through a series of poses appropriate for any level, beginner to master. Bring a yoga mat (or a towel or blanket) and a friend, and get yourself ready for another day of dancing and fun! Friday, Saturday, & Sunday morning in the Dance Tent at 9am.
