ONSITE CAMPING GOES ON SALE FEBRUARY 14, 2024 AT 9 AM ET

ONSITE GATES OPEN AT 12 PM ON THURSDAY, JULY 18TH, 2024

Located on the Trumansburg Fairgrounds, Onsite camping is the place to be if you like to be right in the middle of the festival. The stages run well into the night so if you can't sleep through music then camping here may not be the best option for you.

The two options for camping Onsite are Onsite Vehicle Camping and Onsite Tent Camping.

Onsite Vehicle Camping always sells out very quickly, and Onsite Tent Camping sells out well in advance too. If you know you want to camp in either of these areas onsite, we recommend being ready prior to 9:00 am the day they go on sale. Please check out the maps in advance, and have more than one numbered site in mind just in case you don’t get your first choice!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to high demand, ALL Onsite camping purchases will be limited to two (2) campsites per person. If your group needs to purchase more than 2 sites then we recommend that you coordinate ahead of time to purchase sites that are close together!

BOTH VEHICLE AND TENT CAMPSITES WILL BE CHOSEN AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE

VEHICLE CAMPING

Campsites that are found to not be in compliance with ALL of the campsite regulations listed below must come into compliance within one (1) hour of notification, or their belongings will be removed and held in the Volunteer Security Office.

On-Site Vehicle Campers may enter and exit through the BACK GATE on Rabbit Run Rd. only.

Onsite Vehicle Campers may only park their vehicle within their purchased campsite. VEHICLE CAMPERS MAY NOT PARK ON THE TRACK. Onsite Vehicle Camper vehicles found parked on the track will be issued a warning, and if not moved within one (1) hour will be towed off premises.

There are significant differences in regulations between small and large sites so please read all information below before making your purchase.

The term “Structures” in the descriptions below refers to any temporary structure within your campsite including, but not limited to, tents, vehicles, pop-up tents, tarps, tapestries, etc., including fencing.

SMALL SITES

$350 for a regular site, $525 for front row, plus applicable fees

Small Vehicle Sites are approximately 22’x26’, or 572 square feet that can accommodate one (1) midsize vehicle and one (1) 2-4 person tent.

SMALL VEHICLE SITE RULES:

  • Sites may not be combined in any way in order to create a larger site.

  • You MUST maintain a FIVE (5) FOOT separation distance between your structures and structures on neighboring sites, but no separation distance needs to be maintained between structures on your site. This means that you are required to keep two and a half (2.5) feet of open space between the end of structures on your site and the painted border line between neighboring sites. You will need to work with your neighbors so all campsites are in compliance.

  • Structures on your site may be placed just inside roadway lines, without leaving a five (5) foot clearing. Sites must not infringe on roadways and pathways - keep all access roads clear.

  • Structures include tents, pop-ups, tarps, tapestries, etc., including fencing.

  • NO OPEN FLAMES of any sort are allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, campfires, portable camping stoves, tiki torches, gas or charcoal grills, candles, etc.

  • No liquid fuel tanks of any type are allowed.

  • No propane lanterns are allowed.

  • No indoor furniture is allowed on any campsite.

These rules will be strictly enforced in accordance with NYS Health Department regulations. Campsites that are found to not be in compliance with ALL of the campsite regulations listed below must come into compliance within one (1) hour of notification, or their belongings will be removed and held in the Volunteer Security Office.

LARGE SITES

$700 for a regular site, $900 for front row, plus applicable fees

Large vehicle sites range in dimensions, but most are 28’ x 45’, and all are at least 1250 square feet. Large sites are big enough for up to two (2) mid-size vehicles, and two (2) large tents. An RV will fit on a large site, but is unlikely to have extra space for a second vehicle plus additional structures.

LARGE VEHICLE SITE RULES:

  • Sites may not be combined in any way in order to create a larger site.

  • You MUST maintain a TEN (10) FOOT separation distance between your structures and structures on neighboring sites, but no separation distance needs to be maintained between structures on your site. This means that you are required to keep five (5) feet of open space between the end of structures on your site and the painted border line between neighboring sites. You will need to work with your neighbors so all campsites are in compliance.

  • Structures on your site may be placed just inside roadway lines, without leaving a five (5) foot clearing. Sites must not infringe on roadways and pathways - keep all access roads clear.

  • Structures include tents, vehicles, pop-ups, tarps, tapestries, etc., including fencing.

  • Only portable camping stoves with a ONE (1) LB gas cylinder are allowed on a vehicle site. Only one pound gas cylinders are allowed for portable camping stoves, and all tanks greater than 1lb not securely mounted to an RV will be confiscated by festival security and removed from the premises.

  • No campers will be allowed to store flammable or volatile liquids other than approved propane tanks at their site.

  • NO OPEN FLAMES OF ANY SORT ARE ALLOWED (excluding approved portable camping stoves). This includes, but is not limited to, campfires, portable camping stoves, tiki torches, charcoal grills and stoves, candles, etc.

  • No liquid fuel tanks of any type are allowed.

  • No propane lanterns are allowed.

  • No charcoal stoves are allowed.

  • If you plan on using a one (1) lb portable camping stove, we suggest you come equipped with your own fire extinguisher.

  • All structures must maintain emergency access, so please don’t crowd, and keep the openings to your structures accessible!

  • No indoor furniture is allowed on any campsite.

  • No generators are allowed except for the designated generators allowed area at the Across the Way campground (see Frequently Asked Questions below).

These rules will be strictly enforced in accordance with NYS Health Department regulations. Campsites that are found to not be in compliance with ALL of the campsite regulations listed above must come into compliance within one (1) hour of notification, or their belongings will be removed and held in the Volunteer Security Office.

TENT CAMPING

Campsites that are found to not be in compliance with ALL of the campsite regulations listed below must come into compliance within one (1) hour of notification, or their belongings will be removed and held in the Volunteer Security Office.

On-Site Tent campers enter through the FRONT GATE. This is a pedestrian gate only, so you must be prepared to walk in with your tent and belongings. It is a good idea to park your vehicle at the parking area Across the Way and take the shuttle to the main entrance.

REGULAR TENT CAMPING

$250 plus applicable fees

Most Onsite Tent Campsites are 15’ x 15’ or no less than 225 square feet. Tent sites are big enough for ONE (1) 10’x10’ tent only. Attendees with large tents that do not allow for the 5’ separation distance between structures, regulations described below, from the beginning and for the duration of the festival, will be moved to overflow sites at the Across the Way Campground.

PREMIUM TENT CAMPING

Premium tent sites are larger sites that can accommodate slightly larger tents. Attendees with large tents that do not allow for the 5’ separation distance between structure, regulations described below, from the beginning and for the duration of the festival, will be moved to overflow sites at the Across the Way Campground.

Section “B” sites can accommodate tents that are ten (10) feet wide and up to twenty (20) feet long so if you are interested in creating a “hang spot” for a King Canopy that you aren’t camping under, these are your spots! There are a few that are much larger in this section.

Section “D” sites can accommodate tents that are up to twelve (12) feet by fifteen (15) feet.

Section “H” sites can accommodate tents that are up to ten (10) feet by fifteen (15) feet.

No, admission and camping are sold separately.

What if we purchased a large campsite, but both vehicles aren’t arriving at the same time?

At Across the Way & On-site Vehicle Camping, all vehicles will get a vehicle sticker with their site number on it. Vehicles do not have to arrive at the same time. When the first vehicle checks in, we will be able to note in our system that the second vehicle is arriving later if that is the case. If you have a vehicle camping pass and need to leave the festival grounds, we request that you do so between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. No re-entry after dark.

Please be as considerate as possible of our neighbors who live on those roads. As you can imagine, this has a large impact on them, so please be respectful.
